***Note*** Customer services told me this would not accept standard 1" plates (only olympic), I decided to buy it and buy plates later. To my surprise it does accept standard plates, it comes with sleeves to size up to olympic plates, just don't put these on and it will take standard plates.

This is the icing on the cake for the thor power cage as you end up with a really smooth operating mechanism that allows you to workout to the max with any annoying friction or mechanical mishaps that occur on lesser machines
